Who are we?

We are Upgrade Barbers. Established in 2017

We cater to Men, women and children with short stylish hair. We like to keep the traditional barbershop aesthetic, somewhere you come to chill out, have a game of darts, play a game of FIFA, have the craic and leave with a fresh haircut!!

 

Yes we are very modern in our hair cutting ways, but we are keeping it simple when it comes to who we are. 
 

- About us -

Peter

•Peter grew up watching his dad cutting hair all his life when he took a keen interest and ultimately started cutting hair in 2011 himself.  He has worked in numerous shops in both north and south of Ireland learning the trade along the way. He opened the doors to Upgrade Barbers in 2017 and never looked back. 

Ryan

•Ryan took up barbering in 2017 when he went to Newry college to study Barbering and got his certification. Getting some experience in a few shops in town, he joined Upgrade in 2018 where his skill and personality grew with every haircut. Today he is one of Dundalk’s best. 

 

Daniel

•Daniel as a young buck done his TY work experience in Upgrade Barbers. He fell in love with the craft from there as he went onto Newry college to study Barbering where he got his diploma in 2023. Putting in hours of practice on friends/family  Daniel quickly became one of Dundalk’s best up and coming barbers. He joined the lads last year in Upgrade.
